Greetings! Welcome to my "All About Me" page. I would like to take this opportunity to share a little about my professional and personal life.
*This is my 22nd year of teaching in the Ladue School District.
*I graduated from Fontbonne University with an undergraduate degree in special education and elementary education. Last summer, I received my master's degree from Fontbonne in reading, as well as my Reading Specialist certificate.
*Teaching is truly my passion. Everyone talks about how rewarding teaching is, but when you have an opportunity to live a teaching life do you truly understand what that means. It is powerful to watch my students grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Their growth simply inspires me to want to continue to learn and grow as an educator.
*I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Brian. I am a mom to my 4 special girls- Audrey (6), Claire (4), Zeus (our big furry 100 pound dog), and Lucy (another fur baby). My family means the world to me.
*I don't have much time for myself these days, but one day when life calms down (ha!), I want to take a photography class. I also want to travel with my family to Europe and have them experience the history, beauty, and lifestyles of the countries.
